Position: Senior Mechanic for light and heavy vehicles

 Location: Marsa El Brega/Libya

 Environment:

  • Working in a multicultural environment, reporting to the workshop manager

Duties:

  • Supervising and training a multicultural team of skilled workers
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of light and heavy vehicles, construction machinery, compressors, welding machines, generators, etc.
  • Follow up of regular maintenance schedule for company’s pool of vehicles and machinery
  • Ordering of necessary parts for repair and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Senior Mechanic with experience of car and heavy equipment
  • 10 years working experience
  • Able to work on his own initiative
  • Working experience in Libya or neighboring countries is considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of English

Position: Senior Air Condition Technician

Duties:

  • Leading a multicultural team of skilled workers

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of different types of air conditioning systems in 13 different camp locations of the company throughout Libya
  • Managing the central workshop in Marsa El Brega
  • Preparation and execution of regular maintenance schedule
  • Stock keeping and ordering of necessary parts for repair and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Air condition technician with experience in repair of white goods (home appliances)
  • 5 - 10 years working experience project supervisor overseas
  • Able to work on his own initiative
  • Working experience in Libya or neighboring countries is considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of English

  • 5 - 10 years working experience project supervisor overseas

Duties:

  • Calculation and preparation of offers to clients

Requirements:

Position: Operations Manager

 Location : Tripoli/Libya

 Environment:

Duties:

  • Head of projects department
  • Receive and evaluate clients inquiries
  • Supervision and guidance in the preparation of tender documents
  • Contract negotiation and handling of technical queries with clients
  • Selection of suitable project personnel in cooperation with the HR-department
  • Contract claims management
  • Project controlling, preparation of forecasts and annual budgets
  • Ensure that targets and objectives will be reached
  • Quality assurance within the framework of company’s QMS and in accordance with contractual obligations

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering
  • 10 years experience in project management with at least 5 years in a leading position
  • Working experience in Libya or neighboring countries is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications and SAP
  • Good communication, organizational, time management and leadership skills
  • Experience in contract claims management
  • Excellent knowledge of English

MATERIAL IMPORT & CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OFFICER ref no:  SHP001

Tasks:

Liaising with Head Office Malta regarding material shipments to Libya;

Translations of shipping and import documentation into Arabic;

Customs clearance coordination with clearing agent and customs authorities;

Monitor regulatory and legislative changes related to the importation of goods into Libya;

Handling of local insurance requirements with Libyan Insurance Companies;

Interpret and respond to all custom inquiries;

Skills:

Computer operations (MS OFFICE), Good analytical skills, Good communication skills in English and Arabic, both spoken and written, Good interpersonal skills

Knowledge:

Should know import activities and custom clearance – mostly related to engineering goods

Possible target segment:

10 yrs working experience in shipping, logistics and customs clearance matters.  Working experience in Libya or neighbouring countries is considered an asset. 

Personal Attributes:

Physical qualities; age between 30yrs – 40 yrs, preferably Male

Mental qualities (decision making ability, being able to analyse or to think critically)

Personality and temperament requirements (pleasing, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure and very well organised )
