ACCOUNTS CLERK - ADM034

Job Scope:                To perform general accounting functions, maintain accounting records and perform other related duties in the Finance Department and assist the Accountant in the day-to-day running of the department.

Reporting line:         Reports to The Financial Controller and The Accountant

Requirements:             

  • An ‘Advanced’ level standard of education, to include Accounts.
  • Good knowledge of computer applications especially Microsoft Applications (preferably ECDL certification).
  • Must be able to interact with the general public in a professional manner.
  • Must have the ability to perform large amounts of numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.
  • Initiative, problem solving capacity, communication skills, able to work effectively with others, and able to set priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and personal integrity.

ACCOUNTS AMINISTRATOR - ADM033

Working days - 5 days from 09:00 to 17:30hrs

Skills Required - Chosen candidate will be trained however should be proficient in the use of word/excel

No experience required but considered an asset

Education level - A level standard as a minimum, however ideally, chosen candidate would be a Bachelor of Commerce graduate or have attended a similar course. Knowledge in accounts is also an asset but not essential.

Job Description/Duties - The responsibilities include the management of a portfolio of international clients, providing administration services, basic accounting work as well as other general duties required by the various client companies.

A legal practitioner currently practicing, or desiring to practice, in the financial sector. The role will involve significant work dealing with company law issues, investment services , and relevant related legislation. The role will also involve involvement in ongoing compliance issues faced by our international clientele. The applicant should ideally have good drafting, analytical and research skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an aptitude to fit in the culture of the organisation and to be a team player. The position calls for excellent verbal and non- verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work on one s own initiative.
