Our client is seeking to recruit a DIVISION DRILLING MANAGER/SUPERVISOR to establish and guide all aspects of short and long-term strategies for their drilling program by providing direction and guidance to both the field drilling operations and the technical support team in Libya. This position will be accountable for improving efficiency through drilling cycle time and insuring that new technology is appropriate implemented to further enhance performance. This position has responsibility to control and administer expenditures for drilling activities and insures drilling activities are operating at maximum efficiency with optimum cost effectiveness, well planning and design, troubleshoot and keep project on track to meet scheduled targets.   

Requirements:

A BS degree in Engineering (Petroleum and Mechanical) along with 10 + years experience in the oil and gas industry

Previous management experience and skills related to building effective teams, planning, negotiating, and conflict management desired.

Needs to be effective in communication skills, Strong computer skills required

Must be able to handle high stress problem situations and be capable to lead the drilling team to successful resolution

Requires clear understanding of procedures / policy for drilling site operations
