There are more and more elderly and sometimes infirm people needing assistance who choose to stay in the comfort of their own home rather then go to a residency - and in the UK the state helps them to do this.
As a result of this demand, a leading company in the field of CARING in the UK which MHCS Ltd represents in Malta has openings for CARERS from Malta.
We conduct interviews in English for those interested and then make our recommendations selecting those who can speak and write English and who have a sense of responsibility and the right caring approach. Some experience in CARING is essential even if this is confined within the candidates' family however, and selection may depend on obtaining additional experience which we can help organize.
Openings in the UK are mainly in the south and south east of England and placings depend on vacancies at the time of the appointment.
Successful candidates will commence with a week long training course on arrival in the UK following which they will commence work.
REMUNERATION:
The weekly wage can vary but will not be less then 340 sterling per week currently equivalent to 380 euros.

DAILY CARE ASSISTANTS AND CARING NURSES
Alternatively, come and talk to us about a rewarding job as a Daily CARE Assistant or a senior CARE assistant which is available to those qualified as a nurse in Malta.
These jobs in England provide you with greater freedom then a Live In CARER and are paid by the hour, thereby allowing you to increase your take home pay in accordance with the hours you are prepared to work.

A driving license and a caring personality as well as the qualities sought for Live In CARERS stated above.

REMUNERATION:
The minimum hourly rate is £7(€7.84) and slightly more at weekends.
The company has its own cars which you can rent at special company rates and you will be entitled to a mileage allowance.

MAKING A CAREER OUT OF CARING
You can make a successful career and earn good money while receiving training and being assessed according to your performance at work. At the end of 9 – 12 months, according to your own rate of progress you can achieve the NVQ 2, an internationally recognized qualification ; during this period you will also have the opportunity to specialize in certain aspects of CARING which will allow you to advance your career further.
Preference will be given to candidates with O Levels, who are over 21 years in age and who have at least some experience in the subject. The qualities for Live In CARERS stated above are essential and candidates must be ready to commit themselves to work for a minimum of 1 year both as LIVE IN and as a DAILY CARER. This will broaden the experience necessary for their qualification.
