Brief Job Description:
To provide accounting and finance service support to professionals, either as part of a team or individually ensuring the smooth-running of the business. To coordinate and implement office procedures with added responsibilities for specific projects and tasks, and may also include the supervision of junior staff.
Main roles and responsibilities:
The main roles and responsibilities include the following:
- Carry out ordinary accounting functions such as posting journals, invoices, cashbooks, bank transactions, effecting payments, filling returns etc;
- Importation of data files to accounting software application;
- Using a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to produce and manage correspondence and documents, records, spreadsheets and databases;
- Managing and maintaining the office petty cash and other budgets as required;
- Participate in the administration of general office duties;
- Be prepared to travel if the need arises;
- Other ad hoc duties as required;
Qualifications and experience:
To enable the execution of the above responsibilities, the candidate must have at least 5 years working experience in a similar environment.
Candidates sought should be part-qualified (BA Accty, ACCA, CIMA) accountants.
Candidates with an A-level in Accounts and backed by a strong educational background, experience and demonstrating relevant skills such as IT, organisational and presentation skills as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure are also considered.
Candidates befitting the above qualifications and experience and who have worked with ‘Access Dimensions’ are given preference.
